Safe volume, especially around babies

Always keep the volume low. Around infants, a baby's hearing is sensitive: keep any speaker or phone at a comfortable, gentle level and place it well away from the crib - never inside it or right next to a baby's head. Prolonged or loud sound near an infant can be harmful. Use common sense and your own judgement, and stop if a baby, child, or pet seems distressed.
